We recommend reaching out 2–3 months before your wedding to ensure enough time for your consultation, fittings, and any special requests.
What happens during the initial consultation?
During the initial consultation, we take time to discuss all your needs, point out the adjustments your dress may need for the best fit based on our expertise, and hear your thoughts on the fit or changes you'd like. We then provide a quote and plan the next steps.
How much does it cost?
The cost depends on many factors, such as the dress style, details on the dress, layers, material, and the complexity or simplicity of the work.
How can I get a quote?
The quote will be provided only in person. We need to see the dress on you in person to provide you a quote.
What is the minimum timeframe for wedding dress alterations?
Wedding dress alterations require a minimum of 6 weeks. Any request with less notice will be charged a rush service fee.
What should I bring to my appointments?
Please bring your dress, the shoes you'll wear on your wedding day, and any undergarments or shapewear you plan to wear underneath.
How many fittings will I need?
Most brides need two to three fittings. More complex projects, such as resizing or redesigning, may require additional fittings — up to five.
Do you only work with wedding gowns?
No — we also alter bridesmaid dresses, mother-of-the-bride and groom attire, and evening or formal wear, all with the same care as a wedding gown.
Can you restyle or redesign an heirloom dress?
Yes. We specialize in restyling and custom detailing, as well as lovingly redesigning a family heirloom gown into something you'll wear down the aisle.
Do you offer custom-made dresses?
Yes — we design and hand-construct wedding dresses from scratch, tailored to your measurements, style, and budget.
